The pillar is the basic part of every shelf and the assembly basis for all other components – it doesn’t work without it. Depending on the load that the shelf is supposed to carry, you can choose from different depths. Bear in mind: the deeper the pillar, the higher the load-bearing capacity of the shelf. For adapting each shelf individually to your spatial conditions, there are different pillar heights available between 140 and 300 centimeters.
Either you decide on a standing shelf and connect the column with a foot part or you alternatively use the column as a wall rail for pure wall mounting.
Numerous practical accessories such as column connections, pipe inserts with foot plates, wall mountings and end caps allow you to combine shelves in a modular way and to expand or reschedule parts you have already purchased.
With the rear panels you connect two pillars. Both together form the rear panel construction group. Rear panels not only increase the stability of your shelf, but usefully
can also offer opportunities for carrying other attachments such as hooks. For this reason, you have the choice between rear panels of smooth steel or with different perforation types, e.g. round perforation or keyhole perforation. You can purchase panel heights of 10 to 40 centimeters and widths of 62.5 to 133 centimeters.
The so-called console corresponds to the suspension for the shelf. Both parts together form the shelf construction group. You can mount each console not only straight, but also at angles of 20 and 35 degrees. You always buy consoles as a pair. The range extends from depths between 20 to 77 centimeters and also includes versions for heavy loads. The normal version is usually referred to as 2H and the heavy-duty version as 3H.
Conceivably uncomplicated: Simply hang the consoles anywhere in the pillars so that they are in pairs at the same height at the left and right pillars. The minimum vertical distance between 2 consoles (and thus between 2 shelves) is 5 centimeters.
Attention: There are special models available for wooden or glass shelves.
The shelf forms the heart of every shelf. Depending on the intended use, you can choose between a wide variety of designs: In addition to the classic steel shelves, there are also models made of wire, mesh shelves or the so-called endless basket, but also versions made of glass and wood. You can purchase shelves in depths of 20 to 77 centimeters to match the consoles. Like the rear panels, they are also available in widths from 62.5 to 133 centimeters.
The foot section, together with a fitted shelf, forms the plinth or base construction group of the rack. Underneath the foot part you will find height-adjustable screw feet with which you can adjust your shelf to any floor situation and align it straight. You can choose between section heights of 8 to 26 centimeters and a foot section depth of 30 to 77 centimeters to hold your shelf stable.
Simply connect the foot section to the pillars.
You can expand the foot section with practical accessories: For example, plinth panels ensure that less dirt collects under your shelf and so-called deflectors protect your shelf from damage by shopping carts. You can also use the storage space between the foot sections efficiently with a plinth drawer.
